Deciding to resolve Jeong-soo's resentment, Cheol-ho returns to Seoul and stays around Dal-gyoo who is now a corporate owner using the gold bullion with a plan to pay back.
In the meantime, Cheol-ho visits Yeong-sook (Kim Ji-mee), a blind widow of Jeong-soo. Unable to tell her her husband's death, Cheol-ho tells her that he is Jeong-soo, making her relieved. Feeling sorry for Yeong-sook, Cheol-ho signs a consent to corneal transplant to donate his cornea to her, then sneaks into Dal-gyoo's house for revenge. However, Yeong-sook is kidnapped by Dal-gyoo's subordinates and this gets in the way of his plan. In the end, Cheol-ho is able to kill Dal-gyoo after fights against Dal-gyoo's subordinates, but, wounded badly, Cheol-ho dies with the consent to corneal transplant in his hand.
