Synopsis
Do-seong is a little monk, abandoned by his mother as a baby and raised by the chief monk, a distant relative. The boy has never seen his mother but misses her constantly. One day, Do-seong meets a young widow and feels as if she is his mother. The widow has come to the temple to offer a prayer for her own dead child, who died at Do-seong's current age. She loves the little monk like a son and wishes to adopt him. However, the chief monk refuses the request, saying Do-seong's karma is too strong for him to live outside a temple. Then, one day, Do-seong's biological mother comes to the temple to take him back.
