[HanCinema's News] Script for "Decision to Leave" Tops Bestseller List for Second Straight Week

According to figures recently released by YES24, the script for the melodrama film "Decision to Leave" remains the most popular book in South Korea for the second straight week. The figures are based on the fifth week of July for the combined bestseller list of all genres. "Decision to Leave" had already topped the previous week's bestseller list, despite the fact that the script is not yet available in bookstores.

The "Decision to Leave" script will be released in bookstores on August 5th. The reason it is topping bestseller lists ahead of that point is because preorders were accepted by YES24 starting on July 18th. "Decision to Leave" is the latest film from famed director Park Chan-wook, and he is listed as the author for the screenplay alongside his longtime collaborator screenwriter Jeong Seo-kyeong. "Decision to Leave" has earned 1,614,338 admissions at the South Korean box office through July 28th.
