"Jirisan" is a mystery drama about people climbing the mountain against the backdrop of the vast scenery of Jiri Mountain. The story is about a national park ranger that roams through the mountains and saves survivors.

The cast of Jun Ji-hyun, Ju Ji-hoon, Sung Dong-il and Oh Jung-se are making fans excited with anticipation. In addition, Jo Han-chul, Jun Suk-ho, Lee Ga-sub, Go Min-si, Joo Min-kyung and Kim Young-ok form the 'golden crew' in the drama.

"Jirisan" began filming on the 18th this month at Sannae-myun in Namwon, Jeonbuk.

The leading characters of the drama are Seo I-kang, the greatest range of Jiri Mountain played by Jun Ji-hyun and Ju Ji-hoon who plays Kang Hyeon-jo, a rookie ranger. Based in the backdrop of the vast Mountain Jiri, the drama tells the stories of those who hike up the mountain 'to die' or 'to kill'.

The production crew is also matchless. Writer Kim Eun-hee-I, who created the Netflix series "Kingdom" and the well-made genre "Signal" and director Lee Eung-bok, who caused a series of box office syndromes such as "Mr. Sunshine", "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" and "Descendants of the Sun" are drawing attention.

Namwon Mayor Lee Hwan-joo visited the first filming location in Sannae-myun and encouraged director Lee Eung-bok and actors such as Jun Ji-hyun and Ju Ji-hoon, as well as the filming staff. The mayor also said, "I will do my best to support and cooperate with the drama until it is safely over".
