Multiplex chain 'Mega Box' has been selected as 'Exhibitor of the year'(The best movie theater in Asia area this year).
'Mega Box' said: "For the first time for a movie house in Korea, the movie theater has come to receive an 'Exhibitor of the Year' Award in a 'CineAsia', an event that is held every year for the purpose of movie industry development in Asia region.
The ceremony of awarding prizes took place at the Plaza Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand on Dec. 9.
CineAsia, now in its 9th Edition, was created in response to an overwhelming demand on the part of the motion picture theatre and concession equipment manufacturers and cinema owners from the region.
CineAsia 2004 will provide exhibiting companies direct access to corporate and individual buyers seeking the newest in state-of-the-art theatre technology and services.
