While watching "The Dark Knight Rises", my attention was focused on the latest Bat vehicle. I mean, wouldn't it be really cool to own a car that can climb a high-rise building?

Unfortunately for me, this type of car doesn't exist in real life… But what if instead of waiting for those big car makers to create your dream car, you could design your own?.

With the Ministry of Knowledge Economy's support, the Korea Institute of Design Promotion is holding a car design contest for college students, appropriately enough called "The Car Design Contest 2013 for College Students". It's intended to provide an outlet for undergraduate and grad school students to submit creative, futuristic car designs that they have dreamt of since childhood. This contest started in 1998 and last year more than 200 people participated with a college student named Yoon Han-bin winning the top prize with the Strive 2020.

To help participants push their imaginations to the max, there will be no limit to the size and shape of designs. What if one participant has several great ideas? No worries, as each participant is allowed to submit as many as three designs.

The prize is also quite awesome. The winning participant will be awarded three-million-won worth of prize and her design will be introduced at the Seoul Motor Show. Can't wait to see the final ideas for this contest. Leave a comment telling us about the car of your dreams.
