Kim You-jung Makes 100 Million Won Donation For Sick Children

Actor Kim You-jung donated 100 million won to children with childhood cancer and leukemia.

According to the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation, the donation delivered in Kim You-jung's name will be used to treat children suffering from childhood cancer, leukemia, and rare and incurable diseases. The Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation's operation and hospital treatment support project provides at least 5 million won to 30 million won for children under the age of 25 diagnosed with childhood cancer leukemia and rare and incurable diseases, and will be used for surgery and hospital treatment, transplants, rare medicine purchases, and hospital aids.

Kim You-jung, who recently drew great attention from viewers for her mature performance as Do Do-hee in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama "My Demon", also won the Best Actress Award in the Best Melo Rom-Com category at the SBS Acting Awards in 2023.

Actor Kim You-jung said, "I hope that young children can stay healthier without losing their dreams in the new year".
