[HanCinema's News] "Vengeance of the Bride" on Break for Lunar New Year Holiday

The evening soap opera "Vengeance of the Bride" did not air its seventieth episode on January 23rd, instead airing the second part of a Lunar New Year variety show special. According to KBS, the seventieth episode of "Vengeance of the Bride" will air on January 24th instead in the same timeslot. "Vengeance of the Bride" normally airs Mondays through Fridays, and was already out of sequence for its planned one hundred episode run.

KBS has not yet announced how this mismatch will be resolved, whether extra episodes will be added or removed, or if further preemptions will render this unnecessary. With six weeks remaining of broadcasts, there's plenty of time for them to decide on a solution. "Vengeance of the Bride" stars Park Ha-na in the title role as a woman who marries into the family of her archenemy to extract personal revenge. It had ratings of 13.7% in its most recent episode, the sixty-ninth, which aired on January 20th.
