On March 25th, ABO Entertainment released two new theatrical posters for their upcoming action film "The Roundup: Punishment" which will start screening in South Korean theaters on April 24th. While the first theatrical poster featured only lead actor Ma Dong-seok, the new posters also include supporting cast members. In one, Ma Dong-seok can be seen in a vicious fistfight with his villainous rival, a special forces villain played by Kim Mu-yeol.

In the second poster, Ma Dong-seok and Kim Mu-yeol appear alongside two other characters, a villainous CEO played by Lee Dong-hwi and the recurring franchise character played by Park Ji-hwan. The expressions of the characters range from powerful physical presence for the leading action stars to bewildered reaction shots from their less intimidating support characters. Both posters also highlight that "The Roundup: Punishment" screened at the Berlin International Film Festival earlier this year.

"The Roundup: Punishment" is the fourth film in the series started by "The Outlaws" back in 2017, switching to the English title "The Roundup" for the second film in 2022, though the title was unchanged in the original Korean. All three films have been big box office successes, with the second and third movies both exceeding ten million domestic admissions. "The Roundup: Punishment" now aims to be the second film to break that benchmark in 2024 following "Exhuma" earlier this month.
