According to figures recently released by Netflix, the intense teen drama series "Hierarchy" earned 26.6 million hours viewed in its first three days of availability. This made "Hierarchy" the second most popular non-English series for that particular week, and the fourth most popular series overall if English series are also included. The data for these Netflix releases was tracked from June 3rd to June 9th. "Hierarchy" was also the most popular show for Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

"Hierarchy" was one of four South Korean shows on this particular Netflix chart, and all of the other ones have been available for longer. "The Atypical Family" in third place saw its fifth straight appearance in the top ten with 19.8 million hours viewed. "The 8 Show" in sixth place had 10.3 million hours viewed in its fourth straight week on the chart. "Queen of Tears" in ninth place had 19.7 million hours viewed in its fourteenth week on the chart.

Official Netflix rankings are based not on hours viewed objectively, but hours viewed divided by hours available per show, and "Queen of Tears" has a low rank because all sixteen episodes are now currently available to stream. All seven episodes of "Hierarchy" premiered worldwide on the streaming platform on June 7th. "Hierarchy" stars Roh Jeong-eui as a transfer student striking back at a vicious social order at a prestigious high school.
