Annual Short-Film Festival to Feature Over 5,000 Films

The annual Asiana International Short Film Festival will kick off in Seoul early next month.

The festival, which is marking its 15th year, will feature over 5,000 films from 125 countries, including 939 Korean films, during its six-day run starting on Nov. 2.

"We have a wide variety of short films from many countries. Notably, a number of films this year deal with issues on refugees and women's rights", a program coordinator said.

To celebrate its 15th anniversary, the festival features reruns of most-loved prize-winning movies from previous years.
