"Murky Water" to Go to Disney+

Director Choo Chang-min's first directing drama "Murky Water" has been organized on the OTT Disney+ platform.

"Murky Water" is a fictional historical drama in which a man who started as a warhead in Mapo-naru, the center of Joseon's logistics and economy, becomes a legend of Joseon with just his body.

Earlier, it was reported that actor Rowoon, a former member of the boy group SF9, was cast as the main character, and the agency officially announced that it was a proposed work.

In addition, it was reported that actor Park Seo-ham was also cast, but the agency says that no decision has been made on his appearance yet.

"Murky Water" is the first drama directed by Choo Chang-min, who has attracted 12.32 million viewers with the movie "Masquerade" (2012).

Director Choo Chang-min, who made his commercial feature debut with "Mapado" (2005), has directed films such as "Lost in Love" (2006), "Late Blossom" (2011), and "Seven Years of Night" (2018).

Meanwhile, Cheon Seong-il, who has been writing box office hits, has collaborated to take the lead in the drama. He has demonstrated his capabilities by writing dramas such as "The Slave Hunters" (2010), "The Fugitive Plan B" (2010), "7th Grade Civil Servant" (2013), "L.U.C.A. : The Beginning" (2021), "All of Us Are Dead" (2022), "Minority Opinion" (2014), "Pirates" (2014), "The Long Way Home" (2015), and "The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure" (2022).

"Murky Water" is scheduled to be cranked up around February 2024.
