Yoo Ah-in, Police Will Produce Arrest Warrant

The police said they will conduct a second summons investigation into actor Yoo Ah-in (37, Uhm Hong-sik) as soon as possible. They stressed that if the summons schedule is not quickly coordinated with Yoo Ah-in's side, they will also mobilize compulsory measures such as applying for an arrest warrant.

An official from the National Police Agency's National Investigation Headquarters said at a regular press conference at the National Police Agency in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, on the 15th, "We will definitely conduct a summoning investigation".

Yoo Ah-in, who is suspected of taking drugs, was scheduled to undergo a second summons on the 11th. However, after attending the police, he refused to investigate because there were many reporters at the scene and returned home. The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Drug Crime Investigation Unit notified Yoo Ah-in of his attendance schedule again on the 13th, but his side is still sticking to a closed-door summons investigation. Yoo Ah-in's first summons was on March 27th.

Asked if they are considering an arrest or arrest warrant if the investigation schedule is not continuously adjusted, an official from the National Police Agency replied, "If it doesn't work, of course we will".

The official declined to comment on the summoning plan, saying, "We cannot disclose it because Yoo Ah-in is reacting very sensitively at the date or time of summons".
