Song Duk-ho said on Instagram on the 27th, "I thought a lot about this in case I cause inconvenience again. I wrote to confess once again and apologize that my actions were really wrong and hey hurt someone", he said. "That is all I have to say".

"I made the wrong choice using my personal history as an excuse in 2020. I sincerely bow to the epilepsy patients and their families who were greatly hurt by my wrong choice, the Korean Army soldiers who are struggling to protect the country at this moment, and the officials of various works who have suffered a lot because of me. As I live on, I will engrave my mistakes in my heart and atone for the rest of my life. Once again, I am truly sorry to everyone".

Song Duk-ho made his debut in the movie "Burning" (director Lee Chang-dong) in 2018. He made his face known through dramas such as "D.P" (2021) and "Juvenile Justice" (2022). Last year, he became the main character through "Link: Eat, Love, Kill" and "May I Help You?" He was embroiled in military service corruption in January this year and dropped out of tvN's "Delightfully Deceitful" which ended last month. He is accused of avoiding military service through a false diagnosis of epilepsy by conspiring with Koo (47), a military service broker arrested and on trial in December last year. In the first trial held in May, he was sentenced to one year in prison and two years of probation.
