Shin Sung-rok is starring in the new KBS 2TV drama "The King's Face" as face reader Kim Do-chi.
This drama is about the time of Seonjo of Joseon, where a man born not as the eldest son or the son of a legitimate wife but rises to the throne. Shin Sung-rok creates conflict between Gwang-hae (Seo In-guk) and Seon-jo (Lee Sung-jae).
Since this is Shin Sung-rok's first historical drama, he's been working hard in preparation for filming.
Shin Sung-rok said, "I've played various roles so far, but this is a first for me. I want to help those starring here with me and I am going to do my best".
"The King's Face" will be broadcasted in November after "Blade Man".
