Actor Shin Sung-rok's father passed away.

According to showbiz, his father passed away on the 8th. The funeral is being held at the Seoul Yonsei University Sinchon Funeral Home Room 1.

Shin Sung-rok is preparing for the funeral submerged in sadness. The send-off is on the 10th and the burial site is the Christian Memorial Park.

Shin Sung-rok was born in 1982 and he debuted in 2002 with the drama "Shoot for the Stars". He then starred in dramas " Hyena", "Thank You", "Seduction Techniques", "All About My Family", "My Love from the Star", "Return", "The Last Empress", "Perfume", "Vagabond", "Kairos", "Doctor Lawyer" and more. He's looking forward to appearing in the musical "Ben Hur" this coming September.
