Kim Jae-won is coming back with a new MBC drama called "May Queen" as Kang San.

He is a genius character who was brought up with plenty and has the ability to see and reenact what he has interest in. However, he becomes rude and free once he finds out the truth to his parents death. Kim Jae-won is the grown up and changed Kang San. Kim Jae-won said, "I am very like Kang San. He has strength in the softness and I think I do too. Being too strong breaks you".

About "May Queen", he said, "It's rare for Korean dramas to be based in shipyards. It's about the heavy industry so it might be something new to watch. The scenes making the ships and putting them on the water are very big scale and grand. This drama shows things that are not easy to see otherwise".

"May Queen" is about the children born in a time when the shipyard industry was getting big, settling their parents' grudges and darkness and heading out into a new generation which contains desire, love, betrayal and revenge.

It has been in the making since last month and will be released on the first week of August.
