An entertainment official told JTBC Entertainment News on the 18th, "Lee Sun-bin will join the lead role of director Lee Myung-woo's new drama "Once Upon a Boyhood"".

"Once Upon a Boyhood" comically tells the stories of people in Chungcheong-do, who are savory and secretive but cute. It is a suspenseful youth drama where you can feel nostalgia stimulated by the daily lives and memories of farmers in the mid to late 1980s.

In the drama, Lee Sun-bin plays Park Ji-yeong, a famous fighter in Buyeo called the 'Black Spider of Buyeo'. She will act as a decent fighter who uses violence for the weak and for her happiness and love.

Lee Sun-bin has been laying the foundation for action acting through films such as "OK! MADAM", "Mission: Possible", and the drama "Team Bulldog: Off-duty Investigation". Expectations are rising as it is expected to catch the eye with a more stylish performance in "Once Upon a Boyhood".

Earlier, it was reported in a magazine that actor Im Si-wan will play the role of Jang Byeong-tae, the main character of "Once Upon a Boyhood". Attention is focusing on what synergy Im Si-wan, Lee Sun-bin, and Lee Myeong-woo who directed the dramas "The Fiery Priest", "Backstreet Rookie" and "One Ordinary Day" will show.
