Lee Je-hoon to Act Out Choi Bool-am's Younger Days in "Chief Detective 1958"

Actor Lee Je-hoon will appear in the drama "Chief Detective 1958" (tentative title), which depicts the previous story of "Chief Detective".

MBC announced on the 24th that it has cast Lee Je-hoon as the main character in the criminal investigation drama "Chief Detective 1958" which will begin filming in the second half of this year.

"Chief Detective 1958" is set in the 1960s, 10 years ahead of "Chief Detective" starring actor Choi Bool-am, and tells the story before young Park Yeong-han became the class president.

"Chief Detective" was broadcast a total of 880 times between 1971 and 1989, and is considered the beginning of a criminal investigation that exceeded 70% of the highest viewer rating.

Lee Je-hoon will play the role of Park Yeong-han and play the role of growing up as Park Yeong-han.

"Chief Detective 1958" is being directed by Kim Seong-hoon-III of the films "Confidential Assignment" and "Rampant" and new writer Kim Young-sin wrote the script.

Meanwhile, Lee Je-hoon appeared in the dramas tvN's "Signal", SBS's "Taxi Driver" series, Netflix's "Move to Heaven" and the movies "Bleak Night", "Architecture 101", "Anarchist from Colony" and "I Can Speak".
