KT Studio Genie to Join Amazon Prime in Video and Global Contents

KT Studio Genie announced on the 27th that it has signed a global content supply contract with Amazon's video streaming platform Amazon Prime Video.

The first worldwide collaboration title between KT Studio Genie and Amazon Prime Video is the romantic comedy "Bo-ra! Deborah". It's directed and written by director Lee Tae-gon-I of "Mad for Each Other", "Diary of a Prosecutor" and "Age of Youth" and writer Ah Kyung, who wrote "Mad for Each Other" respectively.

"Bo-ra! Deborah" began filming last summer, and can be watched in Korea and globally through the ENA channel and Amazon Prime Video in April.

Yoon Sang-il, head of KT Studio Genie's overseas business team, said, "We hope to be able to introduce many good contents through Amazon Prime Video targeting the global market in the future".

Meanwhile, KT Studio Genie will participate in the world's largest mobile fair 'MWC 2023' to be held in Barcelona, Spain from the 27th and introduce KT Group's original contents to the global market.
