Kim Young-ok Talks About Her Paraplegic Grandson

Actress Kim Young-ok confessed that she regretted her remarks at the "Gold Counseling Center", which revealed the story of her paralyzed grandson.

An interview with actress Kim Young-ok, who appeared in the movie "Picnic" (director Kim Yong-gyun), was held at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 7th.

Appearing on Channel A's "Oh Eun-young's Golden Counseling Center", Kim Young-ok said she has been caring for her paraplegic grandson for eight years. He was paralyzed from the waist down after a car accident. "I resent the driver. My grandson almost died because the driver ran into him highly intoxicated", she said. "He injured his spine, his lungs weakened and he became paralyzed from the waist down".

When asked about the issue on the day, Kim Young-ok said, "I got a lot of calls from people around me. I never thought I'd be on the show but I did for the movie. I got to talk about things that I didn't plan on talking about".

In addition to the "Gold Counseling Center", Kim Young-ok, who often talked about her grandson, calmly said, "There's no reason to hide it".

"My relatives ask me how I manage to take care of my grandson", Kim Young-ok said, expressing special affection. "Because he is my grandson". In particular, she was adamant that she took care of her grandson even when her son said he would do it.

She said, "My other children are also against the idea of sending my grandson away to an institution. They are happy that he's with me".
