Kim Beom to star in Chinese drama "Ip Man and Bruce Lee"

Actor Kim Beom is living up to his name 'Prince of Asia'.

King Kong Entertainment announced that Kim Beom is starring in a new Chinese drama called "Ip Man and Bruce Lee".

He plays Bruce Lee, a real character based in Hong Kong. He is good looking and is outstanding in martial arts. He is a legendary character worldwide and Kim Beom has landed in this role. How will Kim Beom carry out the modern version of Bruce Lee? It also means a lot that martial arts legends Ip Man and Bruce Lee are coming together in a movie.

"Ip Man and Bruce Lee" is being co-produced by a mainstream Chinese broadcasting station. It is said that the cast is made up of superstars and Kim Beom is the only Korean actor in it.

Kim Beom has made a firm base in China. He's already had a couple of successful hits this year one of which came in second next to Hollywood's "Avengers 2".

Kim Beom didn't just go and come back from China but he's worked hard to get close to the locals and create a base there.

Previously, Kim Beom made some domestic appearances in the tvN drama "Hidden Identity" as Cha Geon-woo.

Meanwhile, Kim Beom is leaving to China this month for the Chinese movie.
