In Kim Mu-yeol's new Netflix series "Juvenile Justice" a large number of newcomers who played juvenile offenders such as Lee Yeon and Hwang Hyun-jung appeared, drawing attention with explosive passionate performances.

In a recent video interview with Herald Pop, Kim Mu-yeol recalled the time of filming with Hwang Hyun-jung.

Kim Mu-yeol said, "The stories of juvenile offenders had a personal impact, but the shock I felt while watching the juvenile offenders' performances was also quite large".

"Especially, it was Hwang Hyun-jung's first time acting. Nevertheless, she studied similar cases through written documents. I was so surprised when she was talking without any hesitation that it felt almost realistic".

"When she said the line, "Is it a crime to ride an elevator together?", it woke me up. She screamed it when she was reading the script, but I still remember it because it was so shocking and surprising".

In addition, Kim Mu-yeol said, "We filmed all day in the court, so she must have been exhausted, but she was disappointed filming was already over", adding, "I realized she was born to be an actress".

Meanwhile, "Juvenile Justice" is a human court drama that takes place when a judge who hates juvenile offenders is newly appointed to the juvenile department of a district court.
