The original TVING series "Queen Woo" (written by Lee Byeong-hak, directed by Jeong Se-gyo, produced by And Mark Studios, Compass Pictures, CJ ENM Studios, TVING) is a historical drama in which Queen Woo struggles to establish a new king within 24 hours.

The role of Woo-hee, played by Jeon Jong-seo, is a Goguryeo queen who tries to protect her family and tribe by marrying one of her husband's younger brothers when the king dies. She has the resource and drive to go out of the palace and find a new king against the forces seeking the throne. As a result, curiosity is drawn to Jeon Jong-seo's new transformation, which will portray Woo-hee's character who overcomes the limitations of the times and gender and pioneers her own destiny.

In particular, Jeon Jong-seo made a meaningful relationship with TVING by stepping on the French Cannes with the TVING original "Bargain" following the movie "Burning". As this "Queen Woo" is the first historical drama original series to challenge not only Jeon Jong-seo but also TVING, expectations are high that the chemistry between Jeon Jong-seo and TVING will once again shine.

The production team of "Queen Woo" said, "We plan to create a positional queen character that selects the next king and places him on the throne, not a queen who only moves inside the palace or behind the king's feet", adding, "Please pay attention to actress Jeon Jong-seo's unique transformation".

Meanwhile, "Queen Woo" is scheduled to be released for the first time in 2024.
