Hwang Minhyun to Star in "Study Group"

Actor Hwang Minhyun will be starring in the drama "Study Group" as Yoon Ga-min.

"Study Group" is based on a popular webtoon of the same name. A teenager named Yoon Ga-min who wants to be good in his studies but is only exceptional in fighting, forms a study group in Yoosung Technical High School, one of the worst schools in the country.

Yoon Ga-min has fair skin, wears thick-rimmed glasses and looks very neat and tidy. He looks like a good student on the outside but he's actually an off-the-wall character who comes in last in the most infamous school. Every time members of his study group are in trouble, he shows off his hidden physical and monstrous power to fight to be able to study.

Hwang Minhyun has been acting in various works including JTBC's "Live On" in 2020, "Alchemy of Souls" and "My Lovely Liar".
