Kim Ji Ho
Will Cinderella find her way home? Starring Kim Hyun Ju (Marry Millionaire) and Kim Ji Ho (Law Firm), Glass Slipper tells the story of two long-lost sisters whose fates intertwine in the most surprising of ways. Broadcast in 2002, the drama garnered phenomenal ratings in Korea and won over audiences all around Asia, becoming an instant classic. Orphaned as children, sisters Yoon Hee (Kim Hyun Ju) and Tae Hee (Kim Ji Ho) encounter one tragedy after another, with only each other for support. On one fateful day, the two lose each other in a crowded market. From that day on, their lives go down starkly different roads. Yoon Hee loses her memory in an accident and gains a new name and life with an adopted family that treats her poorly. Tae Hee is discovered by her wealthy grandfather and goes on to a life of luxury and privilege.
After fifteen years of searching, Tae Hee finally finds her little sister - or so she thinks. Yoon Hee's spoiled and conniving adopted sister Seung Hee (Kim Min Sun) poses as Yoon Hee in order to join the wealthy family, while the true Cinderella remains unaware of her identity. The cheerful and optimistic Yoon Hee, however, is happy with her life, especially with two romantic suitors at her beckoning: the mysterious Jae Hyuk (Han Jae Suk - All About Eve and Four Sisters) and the devoted Chul Woong (So Ji Sub - Something Happened in Bali and Sorry, I Love You). When the two sisters finally meet up, various misunderstandings cause them to become rivals. Will the truth be revealed, and is it enough to save their family? Glass Slipper takes you on an amazing fairy tale journey into the heart of life's most important lessons.

The Grand Chef Vol. 2 of 2 (DVD) (End) (English Subtitled) (SBS TV Drama) (US Version) DVD Region 1
Kim So Yeon |
Kim Rae Won |
Nam Sang Mi |
Choi Bool Am
Based on the same Hur Young Man comic that inspired silver-screen blockbuster Le Grand Chef, 2008 SBS drama The Grand Chef (a.k.a. Gourmet) garnered rave reviews and top ratings with its delicious story and cast. Korean Wave heartthrob Kim Rae Won (Rooftop Room Cat, What Planet Are You From?) shows off his culinary skills as a grand chef, along with the talented lineup of Nam Sang Mi (Time Between Dog and Wolf, Sweet Spy), Kwon Oh Joong (Damo), and Kim So Yeon (All About Eve) and the mighty pen of renowned screenwriter Choi Wan Kyu (Jumong, All In). But the true star of the show just might be the dazzling array of food that appears in the drama! Bringing the art of Korean cuisine to television screens in delectable detail, The Grand Chef makes mouths water with colorful scenes of cooking competitions and elaborate gourmet dishes, providing viewers with useful cooking tips and delicious recipes along the way. Practically raised in the kitchen of Korea's most prestigious traditional restaurant, Sung Chan (Kim Rae Won) and Bong Joo (Kwon Oh Joong) have both been trained since an early age by Bong Joo's father (Choi Bool Am) to become master chefs. Cool, meticulous, and ambitious, Bong Joo has been striving for years with the expectation that he'll eventually inherit the restaurant and its royal legacy. His father, however, favors Sung Chan who is actually a descendant of the Joseon era royal chef. As the nonchalant Sung Chan gradually becomes more serious about cooking, his natural talent in the kitchen turns into a formidable threat to Bong Joo and rival chef Min Woo (Won Ki Joon, Jumong). When the three face off in an epic cooking competition, Min Woo and Bong Joo reveal their true sides with plans for sabotage. Shocked by the betrayal, Sung Chan disappears without a word, and starts a new life as a traveling vendor selling food to delighted housewives from a converted van. Enjoying his new low-key life, Sung Chan is content to let things be, but the past has a way of catching up.

Ahn Jae Wook (Actor) |
Gong Hyung Jin (Actor) |
Seo Ji Hye (Actor) |
Fany (Fly to the Sky) (Actor)
Based on a comic by Hur Young Man, whose Tazza and The Grand Chef were also adapted for television in 2008, SBS drama I Love You cheekily explores the trials of romance, marriage, pregnancy, and child-rearing - not necessarily in that order. Appearing in his first drama since 2006's Mr. Goodbye, Korean Wave superstar Ahn Jae Wook (Star in My Heart) forms a newlywed couple with rising star Seo Ji Hye (Over the Rainbow). Pop singer Fany of Fly to the Sky, in his second drama after Over the Rainbow, and Park Hye Young (9 End 2 Outs) make up the second pair of reluctant newlyweds. Biting into serious topics while maintaining a lighthearted tone, I Love You delves into the modern generation's perspective on love and marriage with unexpectedly humorous and insightful revelations. The last thing Chul Soo (Ahn Jae Wook) wants is to get married, but he can only bite the bullet when Young Hee (Seo Ji Hye) gets pregnant after a one-night stand. Fourteen years younger than her would-be husband, the sincere and naive Young Hee is madly in love with Chul Soo, while he's just looking for a way out. Twenty-something caddish wannabe rocker Byung Ho (Fany) is also trying to avoid responsibility for his pregnant girlfriend (Park Hye Young). With the help of sleazy two-timing divorce lawyer Min Ho (Gong Hyung Jin, Alone in Love), there may be an escape for these guys, but is that what they're really looking for?
