On the 7th, KT Group held a Media Day and unveiled the re-launch and lineup of skyTV-Media Genie's ENA family channel.

skyTV, which has been recognized for its production capabilities through the success of original contents such as "Hottest Couples", "Steel Troops" (co-production of Channel A), and "I am SOLO" (co-production of SBS Plus), and Media Genie, which newly joined KT Group in 21, plans to leap with KT Group through the re-launching of the ENA family channel. At the same time, its goal is to grow into one of the TOP10 channels and become a global IP operator by securing original IP.

Kim Cheol-yeon, CEO of Studio Genie, said, "We secured original IP and strengthened our focus on production capabilities. Along with Millie and skyTV, we have expanded on source IP such as web novels, essays, entertainment shows, and documentaries. We have pushed for joint production with new labels as well as established drama producers, and will produce content with unique colors with movie creators. We are preparing for a new form with entertainment and digital creators".

Starting with "Never Give Up" starring Kwak Do-won and Yoon Doo-joon in 2022, "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" starring Park Eun-bin and Kang Tae-oh, "Unlock My Boss" starring Chae Jong-hyeop, Seo Eun-soo and Park Sung-woong, "Love Is for Suckers" starring Choi Si-won and Lee Da-hee, and "Good Job" starring Jung Il-woo and Kwon are being scheduled.

IPTV and OTT line-ups are followed by "New Recruit" based on the original work of Jangbbijju, "Gauss Electronics" by creator Seo Soo-min-I, "Summer Strike" starring Im Si-wan and Kim Seolhyun, "Paper Moon" starring Kim Seo-hyung, and "Delivery Man" starring Yoon Chan-young.

In 2022, ENA, which is at the starting line, will also run in 2023 and 2024 with the aim of expanding its source IP, expanding its wide genre spectrum, and entering the global market. Based on popular web novels and webtoons, "EVILIVE", "Curvature"", "Inconvenient Convenience Store", "Riding Life", "Road of Money", "The Winner of the Lottery Will Go to Work", "A Detective Game", "Smash It Girl", "Your Time", "Poongwolju", "I See Your Money", "Bo-ra! Deborah", and "Fist Writer" will meet with viewers.

Yoon Yong-pil, CEO of skyTV, announced the launch of ENA and said, "The biggest reason is that I think we need a new brand that gives viewers more fun and sense of warmth. ENA is divided into play, drama, and story channels. Play will be an entertainment channel for the younger generation, drama will be a channel specializing in drama, and story will be an entertainment channel targeting those in their 40s and older".

CEO Yoon Yong-pil explained, "We will invest 500 billion won over three years to produce 30 dramas and 300 entertainment shows. ENA's original contents include "Never Give Up", "Take Care of Me This Week", "Hammington Family's Dream Closet", and "Heartbeat 38.5"".

skyTV's SKY and NQQ will change the channel names to ENA and ENA PLAY, respectively, and Media Genie's DramaH and TRENDY channels to ENA DRAMA and ENA STORY will be changed to ENA STORY from April 29th.
